The 2020 VirtualGold Country CharityChallenge
In this crazy and upsetting year of Covid 19, non-profit organizations and schools are struggling to meet the needs of Nevada County youth. To do our part to help these organizations, the Rotary Club of Grass Valley has joined with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northern Sierra, Bright Futures for Youth (formerly NEO and the Friendship Club) and Lyman Gilmore Middle School and our many sponsors to bring you the Virtual Gold Country Charity Challenge. Profits from the Charity Challenge will be distributed to our four youth organization partners.
All proceeds will stay in Nevada County.
The Charity Challenge is simple. Register for the Challenge and then pick the exercise routine of your choice, be it cycling, jogging, kayaking, walking, swimming, etc., and keep track of your miles cycled, walked or run, laps swum, or hours kayaked from November 4th-8th. There will be awards for those who meet milestones in their chosen event and a prize for the cyclist who rides the most miles and also one for the most elevation gained over the five days of the event.
All registrants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes (not yet determined).
Click the registration button below to learn more about the Charity Challenge and to complete the registration form.
Due to Covid 19 the event for 2020 has been canceled.
